New ideas are scary. Or silly. Or frivolous. Until they’re not. Hence the need for advertising that spurs trial. First Wave’s Touch + Touchless Faucet was a great example.
Our challenge was to take a product that might initially seem unnecessary and turn it into something that felt perfectly logical—perhaps even indispensable. But product demonstration alone is never enough. To make people really take notice, you need to make them feel something.
